Three, we have the indoor footwear. These are things like the slippers and the socks. Apart form wearing the socks together with shoes, they are also won on their own in the house. That is if the house has tiles or a carpet. The slippers are mostly used for bathing and also walking in the house. All this serve the main purpose of protecting the feet. There are some activities that require specific footwear. A good example is ballet. For one to participate and enjoy ballet to the fullest, he/she needs to have the shoes that are meant for it because they are comfortable. The climbing shoes are also another example.
